Motorola outs r765 and r765IS rugged, fugly iDEN phones

Motorola has recently announced two new members to its iDEN family of devices, designed for utility, petrochemical and industrial markets. As expected, both devices are superintendent ugly and bulky, though made to perfectly employment in noisy and hazardous environments.

Both the Moto r765 and r765IS sport a two-means and a cellular wireless, and in that sense they go beyond the traditional push-to-talking. Users tin switch between the 2 modes, whether they’re using the French telephone for on-web site or thirster-length communication. Rest of the spectacles include Bluetooth, documentation for Java apps, and information communication.

As for the differences between the r765 and r765IS, the “IS” on the latter modelling stand for “intrinsically condom.” The Motorola (New York Stock Exchange: MOT) r765 will be available in Q2 2009, while the IS model volition start selling from the third base stern of this year…
