The Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight is a touchscreen cell phone for T-Mobile that uses Samsung’s TouchWiz drug user port to offer duplicate customization options to users. The phone also packs in a 3.2 megapixel photographic camera and support for T-Mobile’s budding 3G net, with super-fast information speeds. We put this touchscreen earphone through its paces to see how well it measures up.
Physical Aspects
The Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight from T-Mobile River looks like just another touchscreen earphone, at first glance. The pocket-friendly lineament phone measures in at 109mm x 53mm x 13mm (4.3in x 2.1in x 0.5in), but weighs a slightly hefty 105g (3.7oz). Combined with its curvaceous designing, the Highlight feels surprisingly good in your hand, and slips easily into your pocket when you’re not exploitation it. The earphone is built well, and feels as though you could beat it up a act without concern. The Highlight is available in a ‘Fire’ color scheme, with bright orangeness and red colours, or ‘Ice’, with more subdued darkness gray and teal colors.
The modest 3-in WQVGA (240 x 400 pel) solving touchscreen display takes up most of the front of the device and is extremely bright and easy to read. Below the exhibit ar three buttons – send, back, and end/power, from left field to right field. At the top of the right edge of the earphone you’ll discovery a ‘lock’ key, used to quickly ignition lock or unlock the exhibit to prevent accidental keystone presses. Below this, still on the right field edge, is the proprietorship power/information/audio port, covered by an attached door to keep dust out. The dedicated photographic camera push button is positioned just below this port. The left field margin of the Highlight is devoid of buttons, save for the silver volume cradle switching.

The 3 megapixel camera is positioned at the circus tent of the back of the earphone, with the speakerphone grill right field next to it. The stallion back cover of the earphone tin be removed to reveal the generous 1200mAh assault and battery. The SIM circuit board one-armed bandit and microSD circuit board one-armed bandit ar both located underneath the assault and battery.
