Samsung recalls 160,000 Jitterbug phones

There’s a trouble in the software system of the Samsung Jitterbug phones (version BB14) — model numbers SPH-a110 and SPH-a120 — that made the Korean troupe recollection about 160,000 units. The trouble occurs when Jitterbug is in a no-service expanse and display shows “out of range, attempt again later” content, it fails to connect to emergency 911 overhaul.
The phones affected ar made in Korean Peninsula, and were sold directly to consumers through targeted national advertisements and publications, electronics and drug stores nationwide, and on the Web at www.jitterbug.com from Mar 2008 through May 2009 for about $150.
