Motorola Opens Wireless Broadband Ecosystem to More Mobile River Internet Devices

Continuing its leading in delivering wireless communication theory solutions that connect mobile consumers, Motorola Inc. today introduced a new initiative that integrates its high-execution mobile broadband technologies into networked consumer products. Manufacturers looking to return reward of the increased speeds offered by 3G and 4G mobile broadband technologies such as WiMAX, HSPA and LTE tin add Motorola WiMAX, HSPA and LTE data circuit board solutions into their notebooks, netbooks, portable gaming devices and other networked consumer electronics.
“As operators continue to deploy higher speed wireless networks to accommodate for growth consumer demand for mobility, there are opportunities for manufacturers and operators to cast out a wide range of first gear-might consumer electronics to enhance today’s mobile lifestyles,” said Gary Koerper, vice prexy of Engine Systems for Motorola Mobile Devices. “We looking forward to working with the leadership in the wireless broadband ecosystem to incorporate high gear-speeding broadband into more devices.”
The Motorola WTM1100 is an IEEE 802.16e Wave 2 compliant, one-band Half Mini-PCIe wireless net adaptor that operates in the 2.5 GHz or 3.5 gigahertz spectrum for WiMAX connectivity. For those looking to manipulation 3G, Motorola offers the Motorola HTM1000, a 3G/2G HSPA, EDGE and GPRS Half Mini-PCIe WWAN adaptor that supports HSPA data rates up to 10.1 Mbps downlink and 5.76 Mbps uplink. Carriers interested in LTE’s high gear speeds tin use the Motorola LTM1000 one-manner LTE card, which is capable of speeds up to 100Mbps downlink and 50Mbps uplink. All three products conform to the PCIe revision 1.2 standard.
The Motorola WTM1100 and Motorola HTM1000 ar available in Half-Mini Card form factors with optional extender for Full-Mini slots, piece the Motorola LTM1000 comes in Full-Mini Card form.
