MetroPCS adds low-end Motorola VE440

MetroPCS (New York Stock Exchange: PCS) has another ingress-level gimmick in its portfolio. It’s the candybar-shaped Motorola (NYSE: MOT) VE440, which sports such things as tri-band CDMA connectivity (800/1700/1900 MHz) with 1x information, Bluetooth, GPS, dedicated music controller keys, standard 3.5mm headset jack, 1.3-megapixel photographic camera, microSD enlargement slot (cards of up to 8GB are supported), and the ability to sing along MetroPCS’ chatLINK overhaul.

In a nutshell, nothing special here, but another easy to use handset which can also work as an MP3 player. The price is $129…
