Vodafone Navigation App for iPhone Now Available From App Store

Another one from the launch full point for the iPhone – Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) also announced its Vodafone Navigation App is available from the App Store. The app provides turn-by-twist seafaring, with part instructions and speed camera alerts, for any fix in the UK – as you mightiness expect from a Saturday Nav app
At the remainder of April 2010 customers tin decide to keep the app for the length of their contract for just Ј3 a calendar month, or choose to takings it month by month for Ј5 a month. Customers tin also approach horse opera European maps for an additional Ј5 for each month they ar used.
I’m not century sure how this is departure to fare in the comparison stake, given the world-busting announcement that Nokia (NYSE: NOK) just made for owners of their devices (free Nav!). I’m also not sure about the monthly charging, since Standalone Sat Nav users are used to the one-off charging for their devices – not a monthly fee. On the upside though, there is now definitely no deficit of Sat Nav Apps for the iPhone!!
