Jan 23, 2010 iphone, mac, phones, vodafone
I wrote a spot the other twenty-four hours on Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) UK’s iPhone pre-ordering stats – which to be carnival perhaps wasn’t as clear as it could rich person been – I blame that on duff info I cam across, but then a badness working man blames his tools bombast bombast bombast …
Anyway, VFUK have been in contact (thanks Dan B!) and let me have the exact quote they gave:
“Vodafone UK CEO Guy Laurence confirmed that it would be delivering over 50,000 iPhones to customers on its first base day of selling the device. He said the main reason for the exceptional requirement was customers wanting to manipulation the phone on its outstanding network.”
And to be clear, these 50K+ devices were pre-orders – nonentity to do with sales on the first (or subsequent) years – more on that soon sufficiency
Oh, and the pic is Guy Laurence, by the means. He’s a nice chap!
