myTouch Slide (HTC Espresso) gets real number in pics
Following on rumors that T-Mobile (New York Stock Exchange: DT) may be replacing its Sidekick offerings with the HTC myTouch Slide (codename: HTC Espresso), a couple impressively clear images of the myTouch Slide have come to light. What you see here is the HTC Espresso clearly sporting T-Mobile River stigmatization and bearing the “myTouch” logotype. It’s not yet known how T-Mobile volition billet the myTouch Slide, or if it volition end up replacing the Sidekick, but with its drug user-friendly Android roots and the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, it’s a goodness fit for the Sidekick segment.
The myTouch Slide shows an optical trackpad in spot of the myTouch 3G’s trackball, a camera with light-emitting diode flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a capacitive touchscreen and the 4-rowing QWERTY keyboard. There’s supposed to be a hefty 1300maH battery under the hood, powering an ARM11 mainframe. As for styling, the myTouch Slide mightiness not live up to Sidekick fans’ more quirky tastes, but it’s definitely going to appeal to myTouch 3G fans that were left wanting a physical keyboard.
Holy Scripture has the myTouch Slide hitting marketplace on May 17th, or thereabouts. Expect the myTouch Slide in Black, Red, and White colour variants at launching – just like the myTouch 3G.
