Verizon Wireless’ VZ Navigator 5.0 comes with Facebook integrating, Roadside Assistance documentation and more

Verizon (New York Stock Exchange: VZ) Wireless launched VZ Navigator 5.0 – the newest version of its “mapping, navigation and local hunt overhaul.” Here’s what’s new:
Improved UI Ability to run multiple VZ Navigator functions simultaneously within a navigation seance Facebook integration – update your condition right field from the app Integration with Verizon’s Roadside Assistance service Faster – no need to waiting for the stallion route to download – data will now be streamed Enhanced Points of Interest database with detailed descriptions Traffic crowd-sourcing Alerts for some road attributes such as tunnels, U-turns, dealings circles and toll plazas “Say it Mode” – verbally search for and update destinations (select handsets only)
VZ Navigator 5.0 works with select devices, including the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Curve 8530, LG enV TOUCH, HTC Touch Pro2 and Samsung Omnia. Additional phones will be included in the tilt in the coming weeks.
The overhaul costs $9.99 a month for unlimited access or $2.99 for a unity-day/24-minute manipulation on certain devices…
