The PUMA Phone Arrives with a Solar Panel in the Back

Back in October 2009 PUMA and Sagem Wireless signed a permission correspondence to launching a mobile phone called simply PUMA by Q2 2010, before the Football World Cup (sorry, but it is football and not soccer all around the satellite but here in the US). Fast forward to Mobile World United States Congress 2010 in Barcelona Kingdom of Spain and here it is, the PUMA Phone with its pouncing cat logo.

Now, we ar talking about the same Puma company that makes the shoes, sportswear, and other sport accessories so I understand if you are a little turn wary. But the PUMA earphone is real number, and it comes with a built-in solar battery charger on the back so you’ll never suffer for a dead assault and battery. The handset also comes with a 2.8-inch 240×320 capacitive touching screen, Bluetooth, 3G, aGPS, Quad-banding GSM and a 3.2-megapixel photographic camera with light-emitting diode flashbulb.

The PUMA also sports (no pun intended) a built-in radio, social networking integration, video recording career, a sarcastic calculator and a scratching turntable. And it wouldn’t be a Puma with out a host of sports features, so there’s a stopwatch, Global Positioning System speedo, Global Positioning System run tracker, pedometer and a boating compass. The user interface makes heavy use of PUMA’s corporate colour scheme (redness, white and black) with flat looking flannel-on-red icons throughout. According to the phone’s webpage, it volition arrive in 45 years (first week of Apr) and did I honorable mention it even comes with a on-demand digital cat (a puma) named Bob Dylan?
