BlackBerry Curve 8520 Now Available on WirelessWave, Fido

  Buzz it Share

Over the weekend I heard rumblings that the BlackBerry Curve 8520 was indeed advent to WirelessWave. Sure enough, as soon as I checked the WirelessWave site this good morning, there it was. The BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8520 available in both blackamoor and Lavender. Pricing? Try $29.99 on a 3-year contract.

This is interesting stuff, because we’ve been waiting for the 8520 to arrive on Fido for some time now… with the device now available on WirelessWave, this is SOMETIMES a sign that the twist volition be up on Fido in shortstop-ordering. Carl Rogers (NYSE: RCI) has carried the 8520 for awhile, and it could be time for big red to bump it on over to their discount flattop (the Pearl 8100 is feeling all alone!). We’ll see… In fact, we could know more by the end of the day today.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 features a 2MP photographic camera (with 5x digital soar), trackpad navigation, 256MB flash lamp memory, microSD expansion to 16GB, video recording camera capabilities, wireless local area network, speakerphone, Bluetooth (A2DP), 3.5mm headset jackass and much more.

Stay tuned for more…

UPDATE: Woop, there it is on Fido. Only they’re asking $50 on contract, for some intellect.
