HTC sending HTC Desire to AT&ere;T, Legend (Hero2) to Sprint?

HTC’s new Android phones were the talk of the townspeople at Mobile River World United States Congress, and we’re happy to hear new rumors that hint at both AT&T (NYSE: T) and Sprint (New York Stock Exchange: S) pick up the HTC Desire and HTC Legend, respectively. The rumors aren’t even remotely confirmed at this distributor point, but supposed HTC insiders are hinting at the possibility that AT&T volition bring the Nexus One-ish HTC Desire to its 3G meshwork in the US. Sprint is said to be picking up the HTC Legend and its aluminium unibody as the HTC Hero2 to succeed the popular Sprint HTC Heron.
The HTC Desire on AT&ere;T will finally give customers on the No. 2 US meshwork an option to the Nexus One. Currently, the Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Nexus One is only available on T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s 3G network, which, while fasting as blaze, isn’t exactly the best in price of coverage or indoor execution. The Nexus One volition soon be available on Verizon (New York Stock Exchange: VZ) Wireless, but it volition come with the via media of not having simultaneous data+part overhaul. If AT&ere;T does indeed get the HTC Desire, it’ll come with HTC’s updated Sense UI, which we demonstration from Mobile River World United States Congress 2010 here.
Again, this rumour is nonentity more than pure meditation at this distributor point, but we’re cross our fingers for at least 50% of it to be true. Both the Desire and Legend are incredible Android phones, and we’d be happy to see either advent to the States!
