Samsung Epic 4G Update to Froyo

Samsung Epic 4G update to Android 2.2 or so called Froyo is now available. Thanks to the folks from IntoMobile, now the Epic 4G users get to enjoy the luxury of Android 2.2. Take a looking at the manual update after the break.

Here’s the step-by-measure the manual update.

1. Download the Android 2.2 Froyo update file cabinet here.

2. If the file isn’t named “update.zip” already, do so now. Make sure it’s not named update.zip.zip.

3. Put the file onto the root of your SD card (interior no folders)

4. Turn off your earphone.

5. Hold down Power, Volume down, and the Camera button at the same time.

6. Using the Volume down keystone, go to the “Apply sdcard: update.zip” and press Home to update.

7. Reboot your phone.

And you ar set to go. Now, you’re gimmick runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo).
