Rogers is getting the Samsung Galaxy S Glide QWERTY Slider. Honestly, that’s one of a long name for a smartphone. The device is currently available for folks in Canada only.
The device features an 4 row slide-out QWERTY keyboard. There’s also dedicated home, menu, back, and hunt buttons on the outer edges. It has 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a 4.0? AMOLED display (no 4.3 or 4.5? here), an 8 MP camera on the rear with LED flash, and a 1.3 MP camera around the front. The Glide runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and powered by Samsung’s Touch Wiz UX. Pricing and availability is tba.
