Worldwide Mobile Phone Market Experiences Slower Growth

The worldwide mobile earphone market grew 12.8% year over year in the third base quarter of 2011 (3Q11), as smartphone growth declined in key mature markets. Mobile Banking App Usage in the U.S. Increases 45 Percent from Q4 2010

Virginia M. Rometty elected IBM president and CEO

The IBM board of directors has elected Virginia M. Rometty president and chief executive officer of the company, effective January 1, 2012. She was also elected a member of the board of directors, effective at that meter. Ms. Rometty is currently IBM senior vice president and group administrator for sales, selling and strategy. AT&T Getting BlackBerry Bold 9900

In the beginning of August, AT&T proclaimed they are getting the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Sadly, there are no further information from AT&T. However, they finally speak up via @ATTDeals Twitter history, where they said the device is “coming soon”.

Also, CrackBerry reported that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 won’t be launch on November 6th like the rumor said. There is not much to say regarding this issues but it’s probably a little relieving for BlackBerry
