Nielsen has released data comparison sales of smartphones run either Android. the Apple iPhone OS or RIM’s BlackBerrry OS. The data show almost as many Android-enabled smarpthones being purchased during from July through December 2010 than the other two combined.
The Android operating system reached 43% followed by Apple at 26% and RIM BlackBerry at 20. (Source: The Nielson Company).
