It’s always good when you get an computer hardware accessory that combines a keen eye on monetary value, with good functional design. Case in distributor point: the Mobilefun mission & sync rocker, available for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. Different than the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) minimalist effort, this unity includes a USB cable television and plug in to the deal also!

The design of the cradle is such that it comes in three pieces:

UK Plug (with female USB connection in it) USB cable television (Male USB to male person mini-USB) Cradle (with mini-USB female connection)

It’s very simpleton to one-armed bandit together, and everything comes wellspring-packaged – which agency less likelihood of there being something missing (even if there were, Mobilefun ar pretty mend goodness on the customer service side!). Other than that, there’s no too much to say, other than perhaps the duration of the USB cable television could be a touching thirster – but it certainly doesn’t bounds custom in any means.

The dock itself is a beefy affair with a open plastic template control panel that sits behind the gimmick and props it up when it’s connected – this I think is a better design than the official Apple bobtail, which relies more on the connection, and a very minimal curved design to hold the iPhone in place. Connecting everything is very simpleton – as you mightiness imagine – and from there it’s either charge or sync – depending on whether you connect the USB cable television to the mains hack, or your PC.

That’s really all there is to say on this, other than the price – deliberation in at Ј9.99, it comes in around half the price of the functionary dock – and obviously comes with a full USB/mains charging pack too – so in world much cheaper, as you’d rich person to bargain those offprint as functionary accessories.

You tin get the Mobilefun charge &ere; sync rocker for iPhone 3G and 3GS from here.

[Note: Mobilefun are also claiming to rich person one of the largest (if not the largest) range of iPhone accessories in their memory board, which is worth a look - there really is quite a draw there indeed!]
