O2 is going ahead with London WiFi rollout

“MOBILE OPERATOR O2 will provide free WiFi connectivity for the London 2012 Olympics, having signed the deal it started talking about in December.

The WiFi network will serve visitors to Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and will create what is being called the largest free wireless hub in Europe.”

AT&T Increases Stockholder Dividend 2.3 Percent

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today that its board of directors has approved a 2.3 percent increase in the company’s quarterly dividend paid to stockholders.

AT&T directors increased the quarterly dividend rate from $0.43 to $0.44 a share on a quarterly basis, which would be an step-up from $1.72 to $1.76 a share on an annualized basis.
