Fido is acquiring their first humanoid device. The genus Acer Liquid E volition be drift to Fido. Although, its not official yet but it has been confirmed by the folks from Mobilemagazine.

Sony Ericsson X10 Ready for Preorder on Rogers

Rogers (New York Stock Exchange: RCI) has long ago announced that they’ll be selling the Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) X10, but only today have they opened up the floodgates for preorder. The X10 Xperia is going for rather reasonable price on Carl Rogers: $149.99, on a leash-class contract, which lines up perfectly with earlier rumours.

Over the weekend I heard rumblings that the BlackBerry Curve 8520 was indeed advent to WirelessWave. Sure enough, as soon as I checked the WirelessWave site this good morning, there it was. The BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8520 available in both blackamoor and Lavender. Pricing? Try $29.99 on a 3-year contract.

Bell Nokia N97 Confirmed for Dec 10th

Carl Rogers Upgrades Download Speeds to 21Mbps

Rogers (NYSE: RCI) has been busy upgrading its meshwork lately. They’ve launched its HSPA+ meshwork in the cities of George Vancouver, Toronto, Canadian capital, Calgary and Montreal. So what does this mean value? Well, it agency the lucky folks in those great cities can now approach download speeds maxing out at around 21Mbps… much better than the typical ~6Mbps Carl Rogers usually pounds out.
